City of London Festival 2010
At this summer festival you can catch a range of different events and concerts. City of London Festival offers jazz concerts, dance performances, film screenings and numerous of free indoor and outdoor events.
Love Parks Week
Bring a blanket, buy some strawberries, play croquet in the sun and enjoy a day out with your family and friends at one of London’s great parks. Love Parks Week organises several events suited for families, live music, theatre shows and much more from 24th July to 1st August.
Rude Britannia: British Comic Art
Laugh your way through the largest exhibition of British comic art. This is British humour at its best, here you’ll find everything from the big classics to the modern contemporary. The exhibition is open until 5th September 2010.
Kenwood House Picnic Concerts
Outdoor concerts featuring Will Young, Jamie Cullum and Diana Krall. From 26th June to 21st August you can either enjoy your own picnic basket or order a mouth-watering gourmet Carluccio’s picnic while listening to live music.
Grace Kelly: Style Icon
If you’re into fashion and style – this is an exhibition you don’t want to miss! At Victoria and Albert Museum you can see Grace Kelly’s clothes up-close, including dresses she wore in many of her films, haute couture gowns designed by her favourite designers and plenty of pictures and film clips.
On 27th July , the Queen opens the doors for visitors. Take a tour of this impressive royal palace, get a glimpse of Rembrandt’s painting, stop and smell the roses in the garden and do some dance steps in the beautiful ballroom.
