Swedish artist at Tate Modern

I just noticed that until 31st of December you’ve got the chance to view Swedish artist Martin Karlsson’s exhibition at Tate Modern in London. Will try to get a glimpse of this myself next time I’m in London.

The exhibition celebrates the beginning of the works for Tate Modern’s new building. Martin has created a project on the 100-metre hoarding that encloses the works. London – An Imagery 2008–9 takes as its starting point Gustave Doré’s engravings published in 1872. Martin updates this portrait of the city and its inhabitants.

And did I mention, it’s free entry!
