If you’re the type who loves the sea and like to be active with sports, sightseeing and attractions – then Torquay is the right place to spend your summer holiday!

The English Riviera includes the coastal sites Torbay, Brixham and Paignton. However, Torquay is the “Queen of the Riviera” with its wonderful climate, palms and clear water and there’s a lot to see and experience. Here you can relax with your friends or family on the beach, sip a cup of tea in the street cafes or go shopping. The average temperature in Torquay is 22,5 Celsius, with other words warm and perfect for outdoor activities for everyone.

What to do in Torquay
–    Take a guided tour in Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves, which is one of the most important stone age caves in Britain.
–    Learn more about the towns famous crime author, Agatha Cristie, by visiting the Torquay Museum
–    Experience Torquay from the skies in an air balloon.

Or you can do what I would do, just lay on the beach, soak up the sun , cool off in the water and maybe try windsurfing.
