Book signing at TUR

Today is the first of the two consumer days when the TUR exhibition is open to the public. The line to get in was some hundred meters long when the doors to the exhibition area opened this morning. Activities by the VisitBritain stand started off with an appearance by Johan Hakelius, auhor, journalist and anglophile (or “anglomaniac” as he prefers to call it). Johan talked about his book “Döda Vita Män” (Dead White Men) and his fascination for Great Britain. The public also got a chance to buy a signed copy of the highly acclaimed book (as did I).

During the weekend, visitors are welcome to our stand to get inspiration and suggestions, take part in competitions and receive brochures about different destinations in Britain. Our Britain experts Anne, Cathrine and Jackie will be there to answer your questions about Britain and your forthcoming holiday trips.

Tomorrow at 11am and 2pm you will also get an opportunity to meet Bosse “Bildoktorn” Andersson, hear about his whisky adventures in Scotland and buy a signed copy of his book “Whiskyresan” “The Whisky Journey”. Welcome to our stand at B06:02!

Best,
/Carl
