London’s 2010 January Sales

Love shopping? Just after Christmas the famously January Sales starts in London and you actually don’t have to wait until January! Already on the 26 December will stores like Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Selfridges open their doors to a shopping haven. On the 27 December there are more to follow as John Lewis, Peter Jones and Fortnum & Mason. If you are looking for the best bargains, plan your day with an early start. The department stores are probably the best places since you can find everything under one roof. You could also choose your area such as West End, Covent Garden or the huge shopping mall Westfield. For January Sales in other cities in Britain, see our top 10 Winter sales guide in Sweden, Denmark, Finland or Norway.

You’d better wear good shoes and sharp elbows – it will be a crowd out there, but who cares as long as you can do some major savings! The sales goes on until the middle of January and during the last days there’s further savings to find. With the pound still in our favour, grab your credit card and take to the streets of London! I will definitely fill up my wardrobe when going to London in January!

Happy shopping!
