Since the last Storm exhibition was already over when I last wrote about them, I wanted to get back to you readers now, when there’s a new exhibition.
In their new exhibition Mind over Matter – The images of Pink Floyd you’ll find their album cover prints of Pink Floyd; a result of over 40 years of collaboration between StormStudios and one of the World’s most successful rock bands.
The exhibition is situated in the little town of Ely, Cambridgeshire in Eastern England. Ely is a beautiful little cathedral city, just over an hour from London by train. While you’re in the city, you should take the opportunity to visit the beautiful English Medieval Cathedral, also known as ‘the ship of the Fens’, because of its shape that towers over the flat countryside. The most distinguishing feature of the Ely Cathedral is the octagon, an astonishingly beautiful tower built in the 13th century.
The exhibition ‘Mind over Matters’ is at the Babylon Gallery and continues until Sunday 19 July 2009. The gallery is open Tuesdays to Sundays 12 noon – 4pm and there is no entry fee.
Address: Babylon Gallery is at: Waterside, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB7 4AU
On Saturday 27 June from 2pm you can also meet the artist Storm Thorgerson in person.
For those, who are going to London in July, visit this exhibition in Ely. You will not be disappointed.
