I´ve recently come back from a wedding in sunny England (with my husband) and thought I would share with you some of the highlights of our trip (apart from seeing my family of course !) It started in London at Paddington station, following the footsteps that show you the way to the taxi rank ! Then we had an “entertaining” 15 minute drive to our hotel in Westminster with our driver. Did you know for example that there are 22,000 taxi´s in London ? 13 pounds well worth spent, so we gave him an extra 4 pounds !

When in London I always try and see a musical and this time it was “Dirty Dancing”. A fully packed Aldwychtheatre with young teenagers to senior citizens, and whatever the age we all left feeling happy ! Well worth 583 SEK a ticket, special offer on our website ! Ps – Don´t forget to have a drink in the bar during the intervall! You can order and pay beforehand so your drinks with be waiting for you. Simply look for your bill/name in the glass !

Another “Must” for me, or probably more so for my husband is a meal at “China Town” round “Leicester Square” Our favourite Chinese restaurant being the first one on Gerard Street ” Try their “Crispy Duck” or “Dim Sum”. You will want to go back for more ! www.gerrardscorner.co.uk

Odiham is where we stayed for the wedding and such a quaint village, well worth a visit. There is no train station but the closest one is only about 5 mins drive away. Hook train station, taking you to London regularly.1.5 hr journey. We stayed at “The George Hotel” ….great atmosphere and friendly service, right on the high street www.georgehotelodiham.com. A 10 minute walk and you are by the canal. Beautiful walk along the canal to the castle. One can even rent narrow boats from here. Enjoy the photo´s and maybe your next trip to England will take you to beautiful Hampshire and a visit to Odiham !
