As you may well know, The London Summit, also know as the G20 Briefing will be taking place at Excel this week, the 2nd of April. Excel is the major conference centre in London and is situated in the Docklands in East London. On the evening the 1st of April the Queen will have a reception at Buckingham Palace and there will also be receptions at 10 Downing Street. On the 2nd of April all delegates, including US President Barack Obama, the Russian and Chinese heads of states, the European Union and several major financial institutions will attend the main summit meeting.
There will be disruptions in traffic due to this and tube stations like Bank, Bishopsgate, Cannon Street and London Bridge/North Side will probably be affected. For live update on transport you can have a look at Transport for London webpage.
