We always appreciate tips and ideas and recently one of our Norwegian customers sent me this link www.rhodesbakery.co.uk
This is a famous bakery that has a store in Greenwich, London with delicious pastries and bread. The shop looks great but you will still find their stall every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the famous food market Borough Market. It looks so good I have to make a stop next time I visit London. To be sure to get some of the really good stuff, I’ll go there a Thursday or early Friday, Saturdays are always crowded especially around lunchtime. Borough Market is known as THE PLACE for gourmands,- here you can stock up on marmelades, chutneys, olivoils and of course,- pastries and bread from Rhodes. The Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan had a great article in their travel section about the Borough Market in February. It’s really good reading if you’re up for a visit. You’ll get to the Borough Market at Southwark Street/Borough High Street by tube, closest station is London Bridge.
